Fishing Liverpool Bay. Normally 18+miles out from Liverpool

You can catch many species whilst fishing with us, aboard “Discovery”. Some of these species are Cod, LING, Conger Eels, Pollack, 3 types of Gurnard, Rays, Tope, Whiting, Bull Huss, Dog Fish, Smooth Hound, Dabs, Plaice, Turbot, Bass, Mackeral, Pouting, Coley, Flounder, and many more.

REMEMBER IN THE SUMMER, SUN BLOCK AND A CAP OR HAT!!!!

Always bring warm waterproof clothing with you, even in the summer. You are better looking at it than for it,If it goes wet or cold!

We make tea and coffee in favourable conditions, but if we are well offshore and it gets sloppy or drifting a wreck, its hard to make tea and net fish at the same time. It is advisble to bring a drink just in case. We also warm pies up at dinner time if possible! pic left Lynne catching Mackeral for bait

WRECK FISHING

We would recommend using a 30lb class outfit. On the day you should ideally bring a selection of Shads, Sidewinders, Jelly Eels, Red Gills, Pirks and Muppets. Also it would be advisable to bring a range of lead weights ranging from 8oz to 1lb, Please remember to bring enough for the day!!! Dont bring every rod and reel that you own, as we will always have a spare rod and reel on the boat.

Last summer we had Pollack and Ling to 15lb, Cod to 10lb. These were just some of the species that we boated from the Offshore Wrecks.please note if it is too rough to go wreck fishing we will fish on the bottom inshore sooner than cancel a trip.
